WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Further workshop offers and events will be published regularly on the demedarts website!
FROM WAX TO DRAWING PAD THE WAY TO YOUR OWN PAINTING TOOL
With pigments we examine and mix the color that feels right for each participant for the moment. We enrich this momentum with wax and cast individual blocks from it. Painting, drawing and writing tools for all people, individual and personal. Made to be painted and painted, we carry out the first writing samples and painterly experiments before each participant draws their own lines with their wax block.
LOST FORMS
In this workshop we will work interdisciplinary (design & music) with different materials. The misplaced glasses, the lost key or the forgotten solutions from the math school work and much more will receive images from Fimo, 3-D scan, 3-D print and melodies.
FADING / VERBLASSEN
In this workshop we will work interdisciplinary (art & fragrance) with different materials and discover interesting and beautiful moments as moments fade.
THE SCORES OF THE PATTERNS OF MEMORIES
In this workshop we will work interdisciplinary (art & music) with different materials. The patterns on the steps and walls to the door of the beloved grandmother, the beloved grandfather will be translated painterly and serve as graphic notation for the instrumental interpretation.
PRESERVED STORIES - MY BEST SUMMER EXPERIENCE
Here, experiences are turned into jam and thus preserved for eternity. In this workshop we tell each other stories and make them visible with different materials. Listening attentively and empathizing is very important. We choose materials for the story told by the other person and fill the glass with them. All senses should be addressed. What smell is related to the story? Which taste is related to the story? What sounds/music are related to the story? What color represents the story? At the end, a label is designed and each story is given a title.
THOUGHT CROWNS / MEMORY CROWNS
In this workshop we treat our thoughts as a valuable raw material. We find the appropriate materials, shapes and colors for what is going on in our minds and create crowns out of them. The results - intact or full of holes, clear or tangled, wild or balanced, abstract or concrete, black and white or colorful or all at the same time - will be placed in a common installation, our thought palace, in relation to the (outside) space and to each other.
