Between requirement and challenge in art and design didactics

The students of the Center for Didactics of Art and Interdisciplinary Teaching present artistic works as well as mediation concepts in the exhibition "Bock auf Vermittlung?!" and invite to explore analog and digital results of ongoing courses together. The focus is on the interaction between the challenges of art and design education in the light of current digital developments. Prospective students will be offered a special insight into central didactical questions in this field.
Students from the seminars of Eva Greisberger, Paul Iby, Ruth Mateus-Berr with Christoph H. Wecht, Nilufar-Wilhelmina Royce, Pia Scharler, Petra Weixelbraun with Eva-Maria Schnitter of the Center for Didactics of Art and Interdisciplinary Education.

Image Archive as Digital Playground

The workshop Image Archive as Digital Playground invites interested parties to use the digital image archive as a playful learning space for teaching through images. First prototypes for digital learning games will be created and subsequently tested together. The focus is on virtual space as an experimental laboratory for art education in the post-digital age.
